Blackout guard, pickup covers and high mass top-load bridge. Mid-weight Alder body with vintage tint clearcaot that lets the grain show through. 7-8 lbs approx.
Alnico 5 flat-pole magnet pickups with cloth lead wire and double wax potted for durability and low noise. Neck and bridge pickups at +- 6.8 - 7k. Custom control plate with 2-band Pre-Amp and tone control. Adjustable gain control on circuit board that allows you to boost the signal up to 15 dB. Stereo jack for 9V battery. Battery rout is under the pickguard and only active when guitar is plugged in. If guitar "dies" , change the battery! 2 volume, one stacked tone setup.
Neck hand rubbed to a satin finish and the feel is smooth. Composite fretboard with no-tint maple neck, jumbo frets. Chrome, open gear tuning machines with clover heads.

We adjust the neck for proper relief and string action, clean/level, debur and polish frets, set intonation, adjust/file and polish nut, and do a full check on electronics and playability.
