Newly completed Wolf model! The Wolf is a perfect hybrid body style that should feel very familiar to fans of offsets, teles and strat guitars. 25 1/2 scale and 39" long. Approx 7 lbs.
USA sourced and CNC cut reclaimed Poplar body. Black paint is in a satin finish and has the look of vintage Nitro. Arm and tummy contours. (Note: Some of our Reclaimed wood has some bumps, pin holes and minor imperfections that we do not consider defects) New guitar. Finish is not a "relic" but you will feel the retro, worn-in vibe of a vintage instrument.
Includes a matched set of our Classic Hot humbucker pickups. Bridge is very articulate and clear with classic breakup character. Loves some overdrive. Neck pickup is warm without being dark and can sing out smooth rhythm and mellow leads. Braided wire shielding. Pickups compliment each other beautifully. Tones are friendly to most all music styles! Loves classic rock and rockin' blues but can tackle more aggressive music. Wax potted pickups for squeal free operation at higher gain settings.
Pro quality guts with full sized brass post 500K pots, a Mallory .22 cap for less aggressive (slower) roll-off of highs, and 22 AWG cloth pushback wiring. 3-way modern Alpha box switch. Black amplifier directional knobs. One volume, one tone setup. 1/2 cut chrome ashtray bridge with compensated brass saddles. Strat output jack. String-through body. Custom cut deep red abalone Wolf guard. Electronics cavities have been copper shielded for quiet buzz-free operation.
Gloss roasted maple neck with 42mm wide, polished composite nut. Some nice grain to this neck! Medium-jumbo nickel alloy frets and black dot inlays. Black side binding. Modern C profile, 10" radius. Rock solid Guyker Professional modern locking tuners with an 18:1 gear ratio.

This "CustomBuild" guitar is surprisingly good for a budget friendly guitar. I haven't done anything to it yet, and it's absolutely playable; the neck and fretwork feel good as is. The stock humbuckers are also surprisingly good sounding. Looking closely reveals some minor imperfections, mainly the handcut(?) pickguard's edges not having the smoothest cut, but I was planning a custom replacement guard for it eventually. Overall, I'd say it's def a keeper! 4.5 stars!
