The DG20 is a pre-wired assembly that has been used by David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) since 1985. This set utilizes EMG's ivory Alnico loaded SA single coil pickups, an EXG Guitar Expander for increased treble and bass frequencies, and an SPC presence control to enhance your Strat's earthiness and mid-range.
 
Real deal Gilmour tone but the flexibility to shape your own tone is far reaching. Real world talk:  The middle tone knob is the the treble expander.  I'd say it works in reverse of a traditional tone knob - 0 is full treble, 5 is at standard and 10 is full midrange.  Lower tone knob in simple terms, rolls off overdrive/boost.  You can start at say 3-5 on dirty channel rythmn parts and crank it to to 10 for leads, like a boost pedal on your pickguard!  Both tone knobs work regardless of switch position.  There are internet reviews/demos that can show the full potential of this setup

Maple, gloss finished blackout neck with green abalone fret markers. A few dings on the headstock to add to the relic vibe.  You won't have to freak about bumping into your drummers cymbals, it's already got the first few dings!  Modern C profile.  10" radius for easy fretting and bends.  Medium Jumbo frets.
