HSS Hardtail Longhorn - Purple Burst

Trade-In Special ! Built for a customer who just decided he was just more of a Tele guy. Hardly any signs of use but just letting you know it's been played and handled. Nothing that shows up in pictures but consider it used.  Protective plastic is still on the pickguard - not a scratch on it.

Quilted maple top finished in Purple Haze. Cream top binding.  Mahogany body.

Guitar looks like a dual humbucker but hides a custom secret.  Bridge pickup is actually our custom 80's Era bridge and neck pickups installed in the humbucker cutout.  Still with protective plastic. 80's Era custom wound pickups resemble the tone of the Texas Special pickup set. Each is individually height adjustable to dial in your tone.  Staggered pole Alnico 2 magnets.  Bridge pickup has steel base plate addition to give it a hotter tone that is borderline microphonic at higher gain settings.  Neck pickup is our 70's era Masterbuilt humbucker with fiber top and base.  Sweet tones at any setting.  Aged White/Cream guard.
